FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Houston, Texas – May 1, 2024 – COHAP OUTREACH CORPORATION, a prominent 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering disadvantaged communities, is proud to announce an extraordinary initiative to make a significant difference in the lives of underprivileged children. The organization is sponsoring a back-to-school drive bash at “Sweetwater Point Apartments,” a low-income apartment complex in Houston, to provide essential school supplies for children in need. The back-to-school drive bash is a part of COHAP OUTREACH CORPORATION’S ongoing mission to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children, irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. Many children in our community face challenges due to the lack of access to basic school supplies, including backpacks, shoes, hygiene kits, and resources necessary for their educational journey. This event aims to provide school supplies, backpacks, hygiene kits, tennis shoes, and resources to all the school-aged residents of this low-income apartment complex, ensuring they are well-equipped for the upcoming school year.
The Back-to-School Bash Drive will feature live music entertainment, dancers, a DJ, resource vendors, food, raffle giveaways, local city officials, the press, and much more. We anticipate a significant turnout from the community, and the event will be a wonderful opportunity to bring joy and support to those in need.
