prioritizing Mental health for re-entry success
BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS AND REBUILDING LIVES
Did you know that approximately 25-66% of individuals released from prison
experience a mental health problem within the first year? Lack of access to
treatment, social support, and stable housing often exacerbate their conditions,
leading to higher rates of recidivism and difficulty reintegrating into society. As we
continue our efforts to support those formerly incarcerated, it’s crucial to address
their mental health needs to facilitate successful reentry into society. COHAP
OUTREACH CORPORATION is committed to providing resources and support
services aimed at improving mental well-being and reducing recidivism rates.
Together, let’s break the stigma surrounding mental health and ensure that
everyone has access to the care they deserve. Read more here.
