Trinell’s heart beats for community service

Trinell Davis graduated from the University of New Orleans where she received her BA in Sociology.
She also earned her certification inVolunteer Management from Rice University. Mrs. Davis previously worked as a Volunteer Coordinator and Case Manager working with Justice involved youth for an organization, called CIVIC HEART COMMUNITY SERVICES. She worked at Civic Heart Community Services in various capacities for over 25 years. She previously served on the advisory board for an organization called Center for Women and their Families. She also serves as President and Co-Founder of (W.O.T.E)Women of Total Empowerment , a women’s civic group whose mission is to empower and equip women to be change agents at home and in their communities. She is currently a member of an nationwide organization called Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated (Lake Houston Chapter). Her love for children and service to others is visible in her personal as well as professional life.
Her service includes assisting with various projects and initiatives at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church where she has been a member for over 10 years.
She also mentors an 18 year-old youth for the past two years, and lastly serves as an advocate of Health & Wellness (Mind, Body, & Spirit) where she promotes, and plan Health & Wellness activities along with Dr. Michelle Green a Natural Medicine Doctor.
Mrs. Davis is also a wife of 26 years and a mother. She enjoys various activities such as attending theatrical events, listening to music, Line Dancing, reading, watching movies / favorite TV shows, Journaling, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys playing with her dog whom she affectionately calls her Fur Baby.
As you can see, Mrs. Davis wears many hats and is huge on helping and serving others, making a difference, and living a purposeful Life.

Meet our Director of community engagement and outreach
Stacey’s passion is empowering the underserved.

Stacey Thompson has served in the nonprofit arena for over 15 years, providing access to Healthcare, a Program Manager, Community Health Worker, and as a Certified Case Assistant Navigator. She currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Outreach. Stacey loves to provide community resources through outreach, education, and best practices when serving vulnerable & underserved communities throughout the Gulf Coast Region.
Stacey has been a community representative on the Be Well Acres Homes Steering Committee, Get Covered Texas Statewide Advisory Committee, TSU MHREACH Community Advocacy Board, Harris County Community Advocacy Board, and the University of Houston’s Community Action Network. She has Facilitated Focus Groups and spoken on National and State panels as an experienced professional on
providing best practices to access Healthcare. Stacey feels honored and privileged to serve on the board of
a few nonprofit organizations, where she’s able to serve the families by providing them with the community resources they need, are eligible for, and deserve. She desires to make a difference in as many people’s lives as possible so that they can make wise and educated decisions to bring change to their lives and those they love. But her proudest accomplishments are that she’s a devout, purpose-driven Christian, a US Army veteran, a wife for over 25 years, and a mother of 5 wonderful young adults.
